Tree Root & Grease treatments for pipe work
Piperight have a number of treatments that maintain pipe work. Pipe work prone to tree root infiltration and grease blockages were once crippling and costly problems, but with new technology these problems can be kept under control or completely eradicated.
Cutting tree roots within pipe work provides a short term solution. They soon grow back often thicker, it’s like pruning trees. The very action of cutting the roots encourages regrowth creating a cycle that will eventually completely crack the pipe work, creating a need for total replacement which can run into thousands of dollars.
We treat these problems with foam Vaporooter that is a combination of herbicides. This foam is inserted into pipe work about 6 to 8 weeks after the roots are cut out. Research has shown this is the ideal time as it creates the best results to retard root growth.
